Plus to get away from the hotel and learn more about local life a visit to the fishing village of Kailua-Kona which is a few minutes’ walk away is ideal. But there are plenty of other attractions for everyone to enjoy such as Captain Cook’s Monument, Hulihee Palace and Kahaluu Beach Park.

3. Hilo Seaside Hotel - Again situated on Big Island this hotel is on the eastern side of the island and you are only a few minutes’ walk from Hilo Bay. Also only a 40 minute drive from the hotel you will find Hawaii’s Volcano National Park where you can spend time admiring Kilauea Volcano which is still active.

If you want a holiday where you can relax and unwind this hotel can offer you the chance to do that as well. Why not spend time wandering around its lush tropical gardens, or lay on its wonderful beach or you could even take a dip in one of the hotels outdoor swimming pools. But what makes this hotel different from the others mentioned in this article is that it has a much more Polynesian feel to it.
